Cellphones & Privacy

I do not believe that prepaid cellphones should be banned even if some people do use them to evade law enforcement. There are plenty of things used today by criminals to get away, but just because some people use them for the wrong reasons does not mean they should be taken away from everyone. Sometimes people simply don't like the idea that anyone can track them even if they are a law-abiding citizen. For example, my dad refuses to get an EZpass because he can be tracked more easily than by his license plate through the tolls, and doesn't want to get a speeding ticket based on the time it takes him to get from toll to toll. In some ways I believe the government has every right to track these things, but sometimes it seems a little much. This is why I don't believe prepaid cellphones should be banned. It means there is always a way to actually escape from the constant watch we're under.
